About Me

Group of four people standing outdoors in front of a floral wedding arch with rust-colored drapes and floral arrangements, during a wedding celebration.

I’m Travis Lane and I’m married to my wonderful wife Traci, with two incredible boys.

I started tattooing in 2008 and since 2017 I’ve been at Holy Grail Tattoos in Lakeland Florida, which is also my hometown and where I grew up.

My favorite styles to tattoo are anime/manga, Japanese, and illustrative, but the thing I specialize in is black and gray portraits. Traditional work is a lot of fun too and honestly I can find something to enjoy about most tattoos, except tribal and bio-mechanical lol, my brain just isn’t built for those two.

While I’m working I stay pretty focused and don’t do a lot of talking, it’s nothing personal that’s just the way I work best, plus I’m more on the introverted side. So usually I’ll throw in my headphones and listen to a podcast or something while I tattoo. Most of my clients say I have a fairly light hand, but after 4 or 5 hours it doesn’t really matter how light or heavy someone’s hand is, tattoos just hurt.

Outside of work I like to make things with my hands, before my second son was born and free time existed I was really into leatherwork. I also used to paint and sculpt, 3d print, use my laser cutter, and a growing interest was woodwork. I don’t really have the time or space for most of it now, but I love my electric unicycle and ride it to work everyday.
